This blog has been pushed down the to-do list for years. Since becoming a freelancer, it’s clear to me how many business owners know so little about technology and how they can use it. 

There are lots of different platforms, similar systems, and affiliates promoting them all within the online space, which makes all of this difficult to navigate. So let me help you wade through the B.S.

The beginning of my tech journey 

I started my freelancing journey in 2020 as a tech VA and I luckily had a mentor who helped me to make my business a success but boy did I have questions. My mentor, Beth, was a seasoned website designer and tech VA herself so when I was amongst the confusion inside the entrepreneur Facebook groups I luckily had guidance.

Since then, I’ve worked with hundreds of business owners from consulting on what platform they should use, and assessing their business needs all the way to designing strategic and stunning funnels on their chosen systems. This has meant that I’ve had to battle with all systems - from the good, the bad and the simply dysfunctional.

Creating something different 

I have spent far too many hours on live chat, raising email tickets and even being on hold to different platform’s support teams while pulling my hair out. This is why I feel so passionately that every business owner should have access to clear, concise and no BS guidance which is the purpose of this little space of the internet (The NVD blog).
